In 1999, Sidus Group, LLC was founded to deliver Web and data services to support our clients' Internet strategies. In 2000, Sidus acquired the assets of Sitestar Corporation, in 2001, Sidus launched RaqShaq, their Cobalt Raq dedicated server and colocation program. Finally, in 2004, Sidus purchased the assets of Ant Race Communications thus rounding out their full line of Internet services to over 500 clients locally, regionally and nationally providing Web results and technology infrastructure solutions to organizations across all industries.
In short, today's Sidus Group was over eight years in the making. It melds Sidus' traditional focus on datacenter services, Web design, and strategic Internet consulting to form a powerful resource for the Web industry.
Some of the highlights of Sidus Group's history follow.
- September 2007: Sidus launches new web site for the Maryland Stadium Authority. This contract was Sidus' first under the State of Maryland CATS program.
- August 2007: Sidus launches new web site for BWI Business Partnership.
- July 2007: Sidus Datacenter undergoes extensive insfrastructure upgrades.
- June 2007: Sidus expands its operations center in Annapolis, Maryland and closes Crofton offices.
- May 2007: Sidus is profiled in an Annapolis Capital-Gazette feature article about corporate giving and responsibility.
- March 2007: Sidus wins a contract to perform Web Services for Anne Arundel County Public Health Department.
- August 2006: Sidus launches new web site for Fort Meade Alliance and the Fort Meade Welcome site.
- January 2006: Sidus CEO recognized by the Annapolis Capital-Gazette as "One of the Most Interesting People of 2005".
- December 2005: Sidus Group selected as CATS Master Contractor for the State of Maryland
- December 2005: Sidus selected as finalist for the 2005 Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce Emerging Business of the Year
- April 2005: Saber Consulting partners with Sidus Group on a variety of data warehousing and data management services for MD Voters Registration System project.
- May 2004: Sidus purchases
the assets of Ant Race Communications, a Maryland-based Web Design and
Marketing firm.
- February 2004: Sidus Annapolis Data Center opens.
- February 2003: Sidus
opens third data center in Northern Virginia.
- September 2002: Sidus
signs a major contract with AmDyne to provide the U.S. Marine Corps.
Logistics Centers with a Technical Document Library System. Delivery
was complete in August 2003, early, with enhanced features over the
original Statement of Work.
- May 2002: Sidus opens
second Data Center in Northern Virginia
- July 2001: Launched

Profitable Quarter, Sidus has been profitable in every fiscal
quarter since.
